What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Working Student in Finance within our Plugsurfing division. This position falls under our Fuel & Fleet Payments line of business, located in Berlin, Germany. In this role, you will have full accountability of your responsibility areas and work closely with our external accounting partner to ensure high quality financial data to support business decisions. You will be responsible for the financial planning and reporting of the EMP business and follow up including monthly variance analysis and forecasting. You will also participate in various financial development processes to further develop our operations. In this role, you will be reporting to Head of Finance.
How We Work
As a Working Student in Finance, you will be expected to work on a 6-months FTC, working part time hours and in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Conduct revenue margin analysis by clients and markets to identify business risks and opportunities.
Perform data accuracy checks to ensure correct revenue reporting.
Support the business with revenue initiative ideas.
Prepare monthly financial reports for top management.
Build dynamic cost analysis and provide insightful reports to department directors to optimize spending.
Track costs vs. budget and simulate forecasts in alignment with corporate guidelines.
Participate in the monthly closing process, supporting the transformation of financial statements from Local GAAP to US GAAP and ensuring a successful month-end close.
Qualifications & Skills
You are a registered student in an advanced stage of your Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, or Business & Information Technology studies.
You have advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, INDEX-MATCH; knowledge of macros is a plus) & basic SQL.
You are fluent in English (German is a plus).
You have a results-oriented approach and are committed to delivering high-quality work.
You have strong analytical skills and a can-do attitude, with keen attention to detail.
You have basic accounting knowledge (German GAAP); IFRS or US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
You are adaptable and comfortable with uncertainty in a fast-changing work environment.
You are a high performer with a strong academic track record.
Experience with ERP systems and analytics tools is a plus.
Internship or work experience is a plus.
You are eager to learn and a self-directed learner.
