We are now looking for an ambitious Working Student Accounting (f/m/d) to join and support our accounting team.

To qualify as a Working Students in Germany, you need to be a current student enrolled in a German University.

Location: Berlin Office

Tasks and Responsibilities 

• Assist with the day-to-day management of the company's financial records, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records

• Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts

• Participate in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and annual accounts

• Support senior team members with financial analysis and reconciliations

• Ensure compliance with German GAAP and tax regulations

• Perform payment runs and bank reconciliation

• Respond to internal and external finance requests

Your profile

• You are pursuing an academic degree in Accounting or a comparable education/qualification (CPA, ACCA, FACT)

• Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with bookkeeping

• First experience with accounting software and ERP tools (DATEV and Workday) would be an advantage

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• You have a good track record of working collaboratively and successfully in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment, bonus if you have experience in fast-paced/scaling organizations or Start-ups before

• Knowledge of German Local GAAP and German Taxation would be an advantage

• You are fluent in English and speak and understand German
